Our History

AECOM launched when a handful of employees from design and engineering companies shared a dream of creating an industry-leading firm dedicated to delivering a better world.

We became an independent company formed by the merger of five entities. While our official founding was in 1990, many of our predecessor firms had distinguished histories dating back more than 120 years.

Since then, more than 50 companies have joined us and, in 2007, we became a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange.

Requirements

- You are a qualified Structural Engineer, holding a Bachelor Degree in the field ( mandatory).
- You have a minimum of 3 years of technical experience in structural engineering.
- Experience in international projects outside Romania and data centers related is considered an advantage.
- You have experience coordinating projects within industrial environments.
- You have been involved in all phases of structural projects, from concept to completion.
- You are proficient in using Revit for drafting and modeling.
- You possess strong communication skills.
You have a high level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the structural design of industrial projects across various sectors.
- Ensure all assigned projects are executed in line with our quality management system.
- Support a collaborative, multidisciplinary design process by working across various engineering disciplines.
- Understand and respond effectively to client needs and expectations.
- Stay updated on industry standards, guidelines, and emerging technologies, and share relevant insights with your team.
- Collaborate constructively with colleagues, external partners (including architects, mechanical, piping, and other specialists), and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
