Internship Java Developer

Responsibilities

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solution center for Societe Generale, one of the largest European financial groups. We provide high-quality professional services for more than 35 countries in various fields of activity - Finance & Accounting, HR, IT and Corporate Operations. Project Description:

Learn to use modern features introduced by Java 17, Spring Core and Spring BOOT,  REST Webservices in order to build and maintain high-performance systems.

Specifically, you will be required to:

• Write code in an efficient manner;

• Discuss daily with colleagues from the team;

• Use Git and GitHub for tracking code development;

• Use JIRA to update the tickets you are working on;

• Validate the application in the test environment;

• Fix bugs and bottlenecks identified during testing.

Profile required

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other relevant Engineering field;

• Good grasp of Java 17, Spring Core and Spring BOOT,  REST Webservices, GIT;

• Experience with SQL & NoSQL Databases is a plus;

• Python experience is a plus;

• Agile Project Management: JIRA, IDE: IntelliJ is a plus;

• Ability to work with Kotlin, another programming language closely related to Java, is a plus.
