Global Mobility Expert

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Global Mobility Expert, you will perform and execute a defined range of advisory tasks related to global mobility and delegation activities according to predetermined guidelines and procedures.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Manage international assignments from initiation through extension, shortening, completion, or repatriation; initiate and maintain assignment cases in mobility tools, including BTAT and related workflows.
• Coordinate visas, work permits, local registrations, A1 certificates, and required medical checks; prepare and review assignment documents, contracts, and supporting documentation.
• Brief employees on assignment conditions, benefits, travel requirements, and local obligations; serve as the main contact for employees and as an escalation point for complex cases.
• Coordinate payroll instructions, assignment allowances, one-time payments, and travel expenses; maintain accurate case records, track deadlines, and prepare mobility reports.
• Monitor external providers, follow up on delays, and escalate service or compliance issues; ensure mobility, contracts, compliance, and staffing requirements are complete before employees are deployed.
• Manage policy exceptions, family requests, project-specific policies, and other assignment exceptions; improve mobility processes when needed; work with Global Mobility teams and external providers to resolve immigration, payroll, tax, and compliance issues; build strong, long-term relationships with all GT Hubs.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree and experience in HR, Payroll or Mobility technologies / applications.
• Dealing with external customers and experience in travel management.
• Extensive Global Mobility/delegation experience and experience of working in intercultural teams/environments.
• Strong organizational skills (attention to details, analytical thinking) and proactive, pragmatic, with great ability to prioritize tasks.
• Self-starter, team player with good communication skills and ability to work/communicate to all levels within the organization; very good communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English and IT literate (Outlook, Office 365).
