Candidate profile
A. Interpersonal and Communication Skills
a. Excellent communication skills: presentation, listening and speak at audience level
b. Phone etiquette
c. Link role between supplier and customer, when needed

B. Technical and Business Skills
a. Studies and training in an Technical domain
b. + 5 year work experience
c. Have electrical and/or mechanical manufacturing assembly knowledge
d. Be knowledgeable of applicable Customers Quality Standards
e. Excellent auditing skills
f. Computer literate
g. Analytical and problem solving attitude
h. Time management and prioritizing ability
i. Both result and process oriented
j. Initiate changes, accepts challenges and takes ownership
k. Able to coordinate meetings / agenda

Main areas of responsibility:

A. Quality improvements, weight reduction, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement:
a. Provide quality and technical leadership on assigned commodities
b. Develop and coordinate supplier improvement plans
c. Serve as a member of Supplier Selection Teams
d. Perform audits on new / and problem suppliers
e. Be a communication link between company and the suppliers
f. Drive actions from Supplier audits to closure
g. Communicate the status of supplier issues to the customer as requested
h. Review and drive sign off of PPAP’s
i. Drive actions and recovery from MRB to closure
j. Support Receiving Inspection team with any issues of disposition of product and drive closure to those issues.
k. Provide support to closure on Supplier Manufacturing Change Request and New Supplier and Component
