OPTICS ENGINEER

YOUR FUNCTIONS

• As an Optics Engineer, your main role will be to develop optic geometries, e.g. lamp components, such as reflectors, finishers and different types of lenses.
• You will be planning and carrying out photometric measurements and analyzing the results, taking into account legal, operational, safety-related and quality-related specifications.
• Furthermore, you will be calculating and defining optical geometries, e.g. lamp components, for series development and preliminary development close to series production, using photometric simulations, evaluating and forwarding the results to Technical Design and/or to other internal and external positions and deriving any design measures that may be necessary.
• You will also be involved in the development of new light sources in agreement with those responsible and in cooperation with the suppliers.
• As another task, you will be drawing up photometric requirements and specifications, in agreement with those affected.

YOUR COMPETENCE 

In order to join us, you should have at least 1 year experience, being a graduate engineer in Mechanical / Electronics / Physics Engineering.

You need to be fluent in English.
