QUALIFICATIONS
• Academic background in related discipline (finance, economics, business or environmental sciences)
• Perfect business English oral and writing skills are essential, as the company’s working language is English
• Demonstrated passion for sustainability
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Meticulousness and attentiveness to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Workforce-ready candidates (i.e. those nearing the end of their studies) strongly preferred

POSITION PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Are you interested in how the major listed companies manage their environmental, social and governance risks? What kind of programmes they have to tackle climate change? How do they treat their employees and contractors? How do they mitigate corruption risks across operations and countries?
• Are you interested in finding out the difference between “greenwashing” and sustainability?
• Do you want to find out what led to the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010? How was BP prepared to address environmental challenges?
• Do you want to know what kind of programmes Apple needed to have for its supply chain to avoid the incidents related to the working conditions in its factories?
• Do you want to know how poor corporate governance and bribery allegations can affect a company’s reputation? Have you followed the recent news about the bribery and rigging bids at Enel Romania?
• Do you like to contribute to product innovation and learn more about text and data mining?

Look no more! This is exactly what we do here: assess and rate the companies’ performance on environment, social and governance. We have our own methodology with a dedicated rating system and our research contributes to different industry reports, ratings, screenings and engagement tools that give responsible investors the information they need to make long-term investment decisions. In doing so, we cooperate with colleagues in Sustainalytics’ global offices. Our challenges also include contribution to the development of intellectual capital and thought leadership reports. Additionally, you’ll have a coach who will guide you throughout the entire internship and will provide all the insights you need. Our interns are also a pool of candidates for any jobs that will arise during this period and have real chances of staying with us permanently.
