Cerinte

Good knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
Experience with Software-in-the-Loop validation and model-based development.
Understanding of embedded control systems and automotive software development.
Ability to analyze functional requirements, control logic, signals, and simulation results.
Knowledge of test design, regression testing, requirements coverage, and defect management.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
Knowledge of Engine Management Systems and Powertrain control strategies.
Experience with OBD, emissions, air path, fuel, torque, combustion, or aftertreatment functions.
Knowledge of internal combustion engine operating principles.
Experience with MATLAB or Python scripting for test automation and data analysis.
Experience with requirements, lifecycle, configuration, and defect management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Codebeamer, ALM, Jira, Git, or SVN.
Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, the V-cycle, and functional safety principles.
Bachelor''''s or Master''''s degree in Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Professional experience in Powertrain, embedded software, model-based development, or virtual validation.
Previous experience with EMS, OBD, emissions, or Powertrain SIL validation is a strong advantage.
Professional working proficiency in English; French is an advantage in an international project environment.

Responsabilitati

Develop, configure, execute, and maintain SIL test environments and test campaigns for Powertrain applications.
Derive test scenarios and test cases from system and software requirements.
Validate ECU control strategies in a virtual simulation environment.
Automate test execution, data acquisition, result processing, and report generation where applicable.
Perform regression testing after model, software, calibration, or requirement changes.
Analyze simulation outputs, identify deviations, and document validation conclusions.
Contribute to software release readiness and functional acceptance activities.
Analyze MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow models used for Powertrain control functions.
Verify consistency between requirements, model architecture, implemented algorithms, and expected behavior.
Review model inputs, outputs, signal flows, states, transitions, conditions, actions, parameters, and interfaces.
Perform impact analysis following model, requirement, interface, or calibration changes.
Identify modeling defects, ambiguous logic, missing requirements, and potential functional risks.
Support model reviews and compliance with applicable modeling and coding guidelines.
Analyze system, software, and functional requirements relevant to the assigned Powertrain perimeter.
Establish and maintain traceability between requirements, Simulink functions, test cases, and results.
Assess requirement coverage and test coverage.
Identify incomplete, inconsistent, non-testable, or ambiguous requirements.
Provide evidence for project reviews, quality gates, and validation milestones.
Investigate SIL test failures and unexpected model behavior.
Perform root cause analysis using requirements, model logic, simulation data, and software changes.
Create, document, and track defects through resolution and retesting.
Collaborate with system engineers, function owners, software developers, calibration teams, and validation teams.
Confirm corrective actions through targeted and regression testing.
