Procurement Data & AI analyst works on analytics tasks such as reporting, visualization and analysis within the scope of their team, while supporting the design and configuration of AI-enabled analytics procurement solutions.

They partner with key stakeholders to define core business challenges, establish target metrics, and drive decision-making through actionable data insights and clear communication. They engage stakeholders autonomously, seeking help in complex scenarios and prioritize their work based on business impact.

They combine their understanding of procurement with knowledge of data manipulation, workflows, methods and tooling to drive analysis, reporting and AI solution design largely autonomously.

This includes designing analytics agent behaviors and workflows, translating procurement processes and functional requirements into agent instructions, decision logic and human-in-the-loop controls, and configuring LLM-based solutions by defining prompts.

They leverage and adapt existing analytics solutions and AI agents based on user and business needs, progressively building the technical proficiency required to configure, maintain and evolve AI-enabled procurement solutions in collaboration with IT and vendors.

This role provides a hybrid way of working with an onsite presence of 2 days/week.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Execute the Reporting and Analytics roadmap under the supervision of the Procurement Analytics Sr. Manager, supporting solutions from idea generation to implementation

• Independently manage ETL processes (in collaboration with Data engineers and 3rd party vendor solutions) to prepare data for analytical use and maintain high data quality through peer validation.

• Own the design and delivery of Data Analytics, Insights, and visual dashboards through the existing tools, translating complex data and business requirements into intuitive, actionable solutions.

• Design and configure LLM-based AI agent behaviors, prompts, business semantics, and workflows within the existing AI platforms to support procurement processes. Translate procurement processes and functional requirements into agent instruction and decision logic.

• Collaborate with operational stakeholders and related crafts (e.g., Data Engineering), effectively communicating insights and aligning with area goals and the broader Booking Holdings data ecosystem.

• Provide timely, high-level advice to Management and Leadership on business process analysis, reporting, and strategic opportunities.

• Continuously and progressively expand technical competencies in AI and data analytics, supporting ad-hoc tasks as required by the direct manager.

• Perform other tasks required by the direct manager

• Excellent analytics skills - able to interpret data trends, diagnose problems and recommend effective action plans to resolve issues

• Knowledge about AI agent behaviours and workflow design in analytics. Experience with prompts, business semantics, contextual rules.

• Experience in working with big data sets (data blending, refresh, maintenance).

• Familiarize with Procurement processes and Source to Pay tools and workflows

• Knowledge with at least one data analysis language (e.g: R, SQL, Python, etc) is a plus
