Requirements

We are recruiting a Civil Engineer on behalf of our client, a global EPC & O&M provider delivering turnkey utility-scale solar power plants. As their project pipeline grows, this role will join the on-site execution team in Arad, supervising all civil and structural works for a large-scale photovoltaic project.

This is a hands-on, on-site role, ideal for someone detail-oriented who wants to grow in site supervision and quality control within the renewable energy sector. You’ll be responsible for the foundation of the project — ensuring earthworks, foundations, access roads, drainage, and cable trenches are executed according to design specifications and quality standards, verifying work on site, and coordinating civil contractors together with the design, electrical, and mechanical teams.

Location: Arad (Grăniceri)
Full-time, on-site (CIM)
Approx. 2-year project, with extension potential based on pipeline & performance

Requirements

Bachelor''s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering on construction sites (solar/energy sector preferred).
Strong knowledge of earthworks, foundations, concrete, and drainage systems.
Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and construction standards.
Good command of English.
Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
Availability to work on-site (Grăniceri, Arad)..

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

Supervise civil construction activities: earthworks, foundations, fencing, access roads, and drainage systems.
Ensure works are executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections and verify work quality and dimensional accuracy.
Coordinate with Design, Electrical, and Mechanical teams on technical matters.
Implement quality control procedures and witness material testing.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports on civil works.
Coordinate civil contractors and resolve interface issues.
