Responsibilities

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solution center for Societe Generale, one of the largest European financial groups. If you are looking for a great career opportunity within the IT world, then you are in the right place.
Our service deals with more than 80 front applications in accounting field. Our mission is to ensure that all accounting events arrive in time into client and general ledger.
We are concerned with developing accounting rules, testing, production support, incident analysis and resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Application maintenance and development in response to technical evolutions for the related applications to translate the transactions into accounting records. 
- Monitoring and adapting the code as requested in various requests/projects (technical specifications, performance, security).
- Provide and implement improvement solutions in accordance with the development standards and architectural rules of the group.
- Use AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot) to accelerate development, refactor code, generate tests, and improve readability 
- Involvement in the project life cycle and development after requirements.
- Perform the related IT testing (e.g. non-regression, unit test).

Profile required

PROFILE REQUIRED

-Mainframe JCL knowledge and Cobol programming.
-IT architecture understanding (2 years on different projects).

NICE TO HAVE

-Experience in Finance/Accounting field.
-Analytical mind, interested to have an impact on the accounting for bank entities and end client.
