Technical Portfolio Management

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical development and standardization of existing portfolio elements within the HVDC and FACTS service business. You will analyze recurring modernization and refurbishment projects and transform project experience into standardized offerings, execution concepts, engineering templates, calculation models and project tools that can be reused across the organization. Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, Tender Management, Sales and regional organizations, you will help establish scalable and competitive service solutions that improve project execution efficiency and support future business growth.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Further develop and standardize existing HVDC and FACTS service portfolio elements.
• Create and maintain standardized technical concepts, execution models, engineering templates and calculation tools.
• Transform lessons learned from customer projects into reusable standards and best practices.
• Define standard scopes of work, schedules, work breakdown structures and engineering packages for recurring refurbishment projects.
• Support tender and project teams with technical guidance and portfolio-related expertise.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Sales and regional organizations to continuously improve service offerings.
• Support portfolio roadmap, standardization and sales release activities.

What You Bring

• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Power Engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in engineering, project execution, refurbishment, modernization or service business.
• Experience with technical systems used in power transmission, industrial automation, or critical infrastructure.
• Ability to structure, standardize, and document technical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Very good English language skills; German is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
