Working Student - Finance Digitalization, AI and Data Engineering

Are you a student passionate about technology, data, and digitalization, and eager to apply them in a real business environment? Join us as a Finance Digitalization & Data Engineering ??? Working Student. In this role, you will support our finance digitalization team in developing practical solutions for reporting, project controlling, forecasting, cost transparency, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

You will work hands-on with finance stakeholders, digitalization experts, and data specialists while gaining practical experience with enterprise tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, and Snowflake Cortex. We are looking for a motivated student in Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field who is curious, structured, and willing to learn.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Support finance digitalization projects through analysis, testing, documentation, and preparation of presentations and project materials.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives using tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Assist with data preparation, reporting, dashboard creation, and data quality activities to support business decision-making.
• Support Snowflake-based analytics and data initiatives while gaining hands-on experience with modern data platforms.
• Explore emerging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and Snowflake Cortex and help identify practical use cases for finance processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders while maintaining documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories.

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled in a Master's program in a field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Initial experience through internships, working student roles, academic projects, or personal initiatives in data analysis, reporting, automation, analytics, or related areas is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of data visualization, SQL, databases, reporting tools, or cloud data platforms such as Snowflake is beneficial.
• Interest in automation, analytical programming (e.g., Python or R), and emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Microsoft Copilot.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a proactive mindset, demonstrated through projects, hackathons, student organizations, or similar activities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, and fluency in English; German is a plus.
