Bid Manager for GT Sales

A Snapshot of Your Day

In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end bid preparation process, leading and coordinating the development of competitive and compliant offers for High Voltage products and High Voltage Substation solutions. You will work closely with customers, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment across all functions involved in the tendering process.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Review invitations to tender, technical specifications, commercial conditions, qualification requirements and submission instructions; identify bid drivers, gaps, deviations and critical deadlines.
• Coordinate opportunity qualification and prepare Bid/No-Bid documentation, bid strategy, internal approvals and resource planning in line with applicable Siemens Energy processes.
• Define and structure the complete scope of supply, including equipment boundaries, interfaces, quantities, options, services, documentation, testing and delivery responsibilities.
• Lead clarification of technical requirements with customers and coordinate responses with product experts, factories, engineering, project management, procurement, logistics, quality, EHS, finance, legal and commercial functions.
• Prepare and send inquiries to Siemens Energy factories and external suppliers; review quotations for technical and commercial compliance, completeness, validity, delivery schedule and interface consistency.
• Challenge and optimize factory and supplier inputs to achieve a competitive solution, including cost, lead time, technical configuration, logistics concept and commercial conditions.
• Prepare or coordinate the complete proposal package, including proposal letter, price schedules, technical offer, compliance and deviation lists, delivery schedule, payment terms, cash flow, guarantees, qualifications and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate risk and opportunity assessments and support the Sales team throughout the LOA approval process; ensure that technical, commercial, contractual, delivery, compliance and execution risks are clearly documented and mitigated before offer submission.
• Ensure the offer is submitted on time, in the required format and at the expected quality level, with full traceability between customer requirements and the proposed solution.
• Support customer clarification meetings, revised offers and best-and-final-offer rounds, protecting the approved bid mandate and business targets.
• Upon award, lead a structured handover to the execution team, transferring the agreed scope, calculation, schedule, risks, assumptions, commitments, open points and customer correspondence.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in sales with the End users and/or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) companies.
• Proficiency in English, capable of engaging in technical and business-level conversations.
• Solid technical and commercial knowledge.
• Results-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Confident decision-maker who can work independently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, good time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office apps and willingness to learn other.
