Advanced Material Data Specialist - Marquardt

At Marquardt Romania - Sibiu, we are looking for an Advanced Material Data Specialist to join our team and play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and reliable material data throughout the product development process. 

In this role, you'll work at the intersection of engineering, materials, data management, and automotive compliance, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. 

What you'll do: 

• Create and maintain material data sheets in iPoint and IMDS Online.

• Review drawings, material specifications, and component information to ensure data accuracy.

• Verify supplier IMDS submissions according to IMDS rules and drawing requirements.

• Collaborate closely with Quality, Purchasing, R&D, Production Planning, and Sales.

• Analyze supplier material declarations and ensure the accuracy, completeness and quality of IMDS data through collaboration with suppliers. 

• Ensure compliance with automotive material regulations (REACH, RoHS, ).

• Prepare documentation, reports, and statistics related to IMDS activities.

• Work with systems such as SAP, Agile PLM, and SpinFire.

What you bring: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a technical field.

• Strong organizational and planning skills, with great attention to detail.

• Advanced English skills; German is a plus.

• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.

• Strong communication, cooperation, and conflict-management skills.

• Assertiveness, engagement, and a proactive mindset.

• Experience in automotive or production environments is an advantage.

• Knowledge of IMDS regulations and requirements is a strong plus.
