• Implementation and Customization of Atlassian & OpenText products (MicroFocus) and other niche products/solutions

• AI based Decision Intelligence solutions.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Android SDK and app lifecycle
• A solid grasp of data structures and algorithms
• Experience working with databases and consuming REST APIs
• The ability to write maintainable and reusable software
• A strong sense of when refactoring is needed, and how to do it safely
• Dependency injection with Dagger2 or Hilt
• Reactive programming with RxJava and/or Coroutines and Flow
• Jetpack Compose and modern declarative UI
• Modular and clean architecture at scale
• MVP and MVVM presentation patterns
• Local persistence (Realm)
• Automated testing, including unit, instrumentation, and screenshot testing

Tech stack:
• Languages: Kotlin
• Architecture: clean, modular architecture with MVP and MVVM presentation patterns
• Dependency injection: Dagger2
• UI: Jetpack Compose for new screens, classic Android Views for existing ones, plus a unified design system and animations (Lottie, Rive)
• Asynchronous and reactive: RxJava (v1 and v3) and Kotlin Coroutines with Flow
• Data and networking: Realm for local persistence, Retrofit and OkHttp for consuming REST APIs
• Platform features: biometric authentication, Maps and location, PDF rendering
• Security, identity and analytics: anti-fraud and KYC tooling (Revelock, Onfido), analytics platforms (Salesforce, Medallia, Countly) and Firebase
• Quality and CI: Detekt, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, MockK, Robolectric, Roborazzi screenshot testing and JaCoCo coverage

Responsibilities

• Own complex features end-to-end across the presentation and data layers
• Convert design mockups (Figma) into fully native screens
• Make architecture decisions and lead the refactoring of legacy code
• Design clean APIs and module boundaries that scale across a large codebase
• Write well-organised code that respects our current architecture
• Champion testing, performance, accessibility, and application security
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain trade-offs clearly and align people
• Openness to giving and receiving feedback and sharing knowledge generously
• Curiosity and a genuine interest in how and why things work
• Analytical thinking, breaking down hard problems and reasoning through trade-offs
• A sense of ownership for outcomes, not just tasks
