What you’ll do:
The LSD Network scheduler is a key role in the integrated, intelligent and agile supply chain organization, focusing on the 0-3 months execution horizon, owning short-term product availability and exception management for FG & semi-finished goods for their value stream across markets where there is an imbalance between supply and demand. This role will be the primary face of supply for a given value stream, owning capacity & material constraint escalations by leveraging scenario planning and ensuring collaboration between demand and supply stakeholders. This role reports into the Network Planner role.
Main Responsibilities:
• Being responsible for developing timely and accurate plans for finished products at the assigned level of the supply network and ensuring short-term finished goods availability in the markets within a 0 to 12-week horizon for their portfolio.
• Managing all exceptions in the short-term horizon and collaborating with teams across the Eaton network and external vendors, as needed, to identify root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions to resolve exceptions.
• Creates the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Coordinates a team of CoE resources (buyers, planners, production schedulers, etc.) to deliver the MPS plan.
• Interfaces with Operations to drive schedule adherence.
• Reports on and analyzes key performance indicators to drive supply network improvements in cash, cost, and customer service results.
• A key aspect of the role is ensuring a feasible plan that minimizes demand at risk and maximizes customer service levels while remaining within inventory and cost targets. This requires the ability to create and analyze different scenarios against a defined scorecard.
• A key success factor in this role is the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple functions to drive improvements across the end-to-end supply chain and serve customers efficiently.
• Manages all exceptions within the 0 to 12-week horizon where there is an imbalance between demand and supply, collaborates on root cause analysis, and drives corrective actions.
• Ensures capacity shortages are addressed or escalated.
• Evaluates and communicates the impact of material exceptions on the short-term finished goods (FG) plan with material planners.
• Monitors customer on-time service levels and inventory exceptions in the short term.
• Participates in decision-making regarding the movement of slow-moving inventory within the value stream.
• Monitors planning parameter accuracy by conducting periodic audits and ensuring ERP data is updated as needed.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for product availability within their value stream.
• Stays closely aligned with demand information to react more quickly to changes.
• Owns escalations and brings them to resolution in cooperation with material planners, buyers, and production schedulers.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors or master’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in Supply Chain (Materials Management, Inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, procurement, SIOP…)
Skills:
• Deep functional understanding of supply chain processes (procurement, SIOP, Materials Management, demand planning and forecasting, end-to-end planning, master production Scheduling’ , capacity analysis, inventory management)
• Working understanding of MRP
• Experience with SAP strongly preferred. Knowledge of Kinaxis would be a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• CPIM certification a plus
• Ability to adapt and to get results in a complex environment
• Influential and collaborative, able to challenge the status quo to solve complex challenges
• Must be able to build strong relationships at all levels
• Ability to use data to generate scenarios, and drive decision-making
