Quality Supervisor - Autoliv

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing the entire Quality organization within RBW, ensuring customer satisfaction, product and process quality, supplier quality performance, project quality deliverables, and the effectiveness of the QMS. You will drive a strong quality culture aligned with customer expectations, ALV standards, and business objectives.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
- Lead and develop the Quality organization, including Supplier Quality, Production Quality, Customer Quality, Project Quality, and QMS functions.
- Define and deploy the plant Quality strategy aligned with customer requirements, corporate objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive management of customer requirements, complaints, performance reviews, audits, and escalation processes.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, acting as the main quality representative for customer-related matters.
- Drive supplier quality performance through supplier development, risk management, escalation processes, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure robust quality planning during product and process development, including APQP, PPAP, launch readiness, and project quality deliverables.
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and internal standards.
- Monitor and improve plant quality KPIs, including customer PPM, internal scrap, rework, field performance, supplier quality performance, audit results, and cost of poor quality.
- Ensure effective containment, risk assessment, escalation, and resolution of quality issues impacting customers, suppliers, projects, or production.
- Lead problem-solving activities utilizing structured methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, PFMEA, and lessons learned processes.
- Coordinate internal, external, customer, certification, and supplier audits, ensuring effective corrective and preventive action management.
- Promote a culture of quality excellence through coaching, training, employee engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the value stream to improve product quality, process capability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Support plant leadership in achieving strategic business objectives while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
- Lead the Quality budget, resource planning, competence development, and succession planning for the Quality organization.

     If you have/are:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automotive, or related field).

• Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in managing and developing Quality teams in manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies: 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP.

• Continuous improvement mindset.

• Data analysis and KPI management.

•  Computer operating knowledge - Microsoft Office Package- Advanced level.

• Advanced English level (C1/C2).

• German language proficiency is considered an asset.
