Position Summary:
The Software Test Automation Engineer is responsible for creating, executing and maintaining automated tests on specific software releases to ensure a minimum level of quality for each deliverable before the release of the software to the next team in the development process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review software specifications and testing procedures
- Develop and maintain automated tests cases, testing tools based on project specifications
- Execute automated tests for the presented software releases
- Create and update documentation for the testing procedures
- Create detailed reports of the executed test cases
- Analyze error logs in order to help identify the root cause of a failure
- Follow bug reporting and tracking process
- Review test specifications and participate in the test validation review sessions
- Contribute to the development of the Software Integration and Integration Test Strategy
- Act according the standards of the Automotive industry and in-car applications
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other similar specialization
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer
- Good knowledge of C#
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Fundamental knowledge of Bash or other scripting language
- Experience with Version Control Systems (Git is a plus)
- Familiar with Continuous Integration tools (Bamboo, Jenkins are a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Automotive software projects
- Experience working with embedded systems
- Knowledge of CAN testing tools (CANoe is a plus)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Fluent in commercial and technical English
- High sense of responsibility
- Attention to details and good analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel (0-20% of time) depending on project necessities
