R&D Process Engineer

Requirements

-Experience with the software development process, systems engineering methodologies, and test techniques
-Experience in training or mentoring peers in engineering methodologies
-Experience in the Software Quality Assurance / Software Development
-Experience in embedded SW/SYS development (automotive experience is a plus)
-Knowledge of ISO Norms, SW/SYS ((V-Cycle, Agile) process and product Auditing
-Knowledge of ASPICE/CMMI and Functional Safety

Responsibilities

-Facilitate the project development method, tool-chain and process with the respective departments and teams
-Lead Process Improvement Action Plan to reach maturity goals in project
-Coach rest of project team on process excellence mindset, policy & practices)
-Carry out root cause analysis for SysSw Q claims/issues (collected from all kinds of „assessments“ and reviews)
-Share best practice and LLC (SMART, GEEDS, PWGs)
-Managing and control reviews in cooperation with SYS&SW Q
-Evaluate and manage tailoring and de-standardization requests from project to (T)PL
-Support PM & R&D-PTM & SW PM to manage priority and process maturity tasks vs. milestone
-Support the rest of the project team for process needs
-Escalation path depending on severity
