HP IN ROMANIA

We have been present in Romania since 1975 but only in 1997, we opened an official representative office. Since 2000, HP Romania SRL operates as a full subsidiary and works with a strong network of local partners in multiple markets including government, financial services, telecoms, energy and retail.

After legally closing its merger with Compaq Computer Corp. on May 7, 2002, HP officially launched the new company in Romania on May 24, 2002, with a focus on product and solutions offerings, go-to-market and brand plans, and recent customer wins signalling confidence and support for the merged company

HP GLOBAL E-BUSINESS OPERATION CENTRE

In 2006 opened the HP Bucharest-based operations center - Global E-Business Operation Centre. The Bucharest centre aim was to to provide high-value and cost-effective remote processing services to customers in the EMEA-region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Presently, we are one of the largest employers in Romania with almost 1500 specialists with multi-lingual capabilities to support financial and administrative business processes for partners and customers in the region.
