Tractebel entered the Romanian market in 1997 under the name Trapec. Initially focused on infrastructure projects, the company’s portfolio rapidly expanded to include power projects. Trapec took on the Tractebel brand in 2009.
For the past 20 years, Tractebel has executed many successful projects in power and infrastructure, assisting strategic public clients including Transelectrica, Electrica, Enel, EoN, CEZ, Romgaz, and the Ministry of Transport, River Administrations, and Water Operators, as well as private clients. Moreover, Tractebel holds several certifications testifying to their commitment to Quality, Health, and Safety & Environment.
