In Romania, Bunge is one of the leading traders in the local market and a leader in bottled oil and bio-diesel through its integrated facilities located in Buzau and Lehliu.
In the Buzău plant, Bunge performs crushing, refining and bottling activities of sunflower seeds. Our company is the owner of commercial brands Floriol & Unisol, number one in edible (food) oil selling. Unisol won an Effie award (the most important prize in marketing) for the Unisolești campaign, promoting the the attributes of the first press oil.
Lehliu plant is strategically located on the logistics corridor for European interland and the port of Constanța. In Lehliu, Bunge performs crushing of rapeseed, sunflower and soybean as well as biodiesel production.
