ING Hubs Romania offers 150 services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide, with the help of 1400 high-performing engineers, risk and operations professionals.
Formerly known as ING Tech, as of 2022 we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities under the name of ING Hubs. We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub in Bucharest, then steadily expanded our range to include even more services and competencies.
ING Hubs Romania now operates from two locations - Bucharest and Cluj. Our colleagues engage across tribes and boarders to deliver consolidated services that support ING in making the difference.
Inside ING Group, Hubs act as global capability centres that foster craftmanship, focused technology investments, automation and operations activities at scale. Cross-locations disciplines and multi-disciplinary teams build integrated services by merging tech, processes and operations for an improved customer experience.

Joining the program means you have the chance to play a part in leading the change ING wants to make. During the two-years, you will learn more about your chosen discipline and the the complex environment within ING Hubs Romania. The wide selection of trainings also allows you to discover yourself and better prepare your strengths.
What to expect during the traineeship:
Job rotation – you’ll rotate between different projects and departments within your track (It or Risk) before you take your fixed position within ING
Trainings – the program offers a set of internationally recognized trainings and certifications which will benefit your career within ING and beyond
International opportunities – one of your rotation projects includes an international assignment. Furthermore, each year you will join global events where you’ll with trainees and managers across the globe.
Mentoring – our colleagues will support your personal and professional development through regular feedback and coaching.
You can choose one of the two tracks:
IT Track – you can choose from various IT projects where you can have a significant contribution. We focus on five distinctive business areas: Core Banking Development, Global Products, Digital Channels, Data Management & Global Retail Solutions
Risk Track – you’ll have the chance to begin in the ING Global Compliance Centre (IGCC) as a Junior Compliance specialist
