PHP Developer

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

• PHP5
• Good working experience with MVC Frameworks, preferably, Zend Framework
• Utilize and optimize MySQL (MySQL NDB is considered a strong plus)
• Mongo DB knowledge/ No SQL Databases
• Advanced knowledge of Javascript Libraries, including jQuery
• Extensive experience of developing object-oriented PHP5 web applications.
• Experience of using and optimizing MySQL databases (MySQL NDB preferred)
• Experience of working with high traffic or large brand web-based applications and API’s
• Experience with Unit Testing (PHPUnit)
• Experience using JavaScript libraries (JQuery)
• Algorithmic thinking
• Good command of English

Nice to have:
• Experience with MVC frameworks (especially Zend Framework 2)
• Experience with Rabbit MQ and AMQP
• Experience with MongoDB, Couchbase or Memcached.
• Experience with Linux Servers
• Experience with version control systems, distributed revision control and source code management systems (Git)
• Previous experience with threads
• Experience in developing/ maintaining e-payment systems
