The product portfolio for different types of vehicles includes: instrument clusters, multifunctional and head-up displays, control units, access control and tire-information systems, radios, infotainment systems, input devices, control panels, climate control units, software, cockpits as well as services and solutions for telematics and Intelligent Transportation Systems. The Interior division employs more than 46,000 people worldwide and generated sales of €9.3 billion in 2017.

    Project management responsibilities include delivering the project on time within budget and scope. Project managers should have a background in engineering skills, management, budgeting and analysis. Project managers are skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that they manage. They enjoy planning projects and working with project teams. - Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the smooth execution of projects - Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget - Developing project scopes and objectives within acquisition phase, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility - Working along the Continental Product Life Cycle in alignment with the project management office - Ensure resource availability and allocation - Develop a detailed project plan to track progress - Manage changes and customer change requests in project scope, schedule and costs - Measure project performance using the given systems, tools and techniques (including Microsoft Project) - Early reporting and escalation to management as needed - Manage the relationship with the customer and all relevant stakeholders - Perform risk management to minimize project risks - Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/suppliers - Create and maintain proper project documentation - Providing all required budgets such as Investments or R&D - Perform task force management within the given project or any other escalation topic as required in case of priority - Any other project or product related task as instructed by the relevant supervisor - Preparation and performance of management or customer reviews such as Steering Committees, Gate reviews, Customer meetings - Being the Customer interface in alignment with Business Development - Sample coordination and assurance of prompt delivery - Being on site with customer to solve technical or commercial issues A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.

    Knowledge, skills and abilities: - Degree of at least bachelor in the area in the field of engineering science (e.g. electronics, mechanical engineering, software engineering) - Proven working experience as a project manager in the automotive sector or similar role - Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in product development and industrialization - Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and advanced German language skills. - Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
