Job description:

• Project aims at analyzing, simulating and capture&replay of communication between several     electronic control units (ECUs) via CAN, LIN and FlexRay networks
• Contribute to the development of measurement and simulation devices in automotive environment
• Development and maintenance of driver assistance Java software
• Performing tests on development level in simulation environment and test car
• Implement new functionality in project specific SW Modules
• Cooperation and compliance with EB standards and practices
• Participate in system architecture and planning as a member of an agile team
• Take care of SW quality aspects in responsibility area
• Writing software requirements and documentation of the Software

Know-how areas:

• Good software knowledges in programming in Java, OO-design and design patterns
• Ability to analyze and understand given code
• SW-Engineering and UML
• Experienced with software specifications and documentation
• Ability to understand requirements and derive unit test specifications accordingly
• Development of graphical user interfaces
• Data base programming (SQLite)

Essential requirements:

• University degree in Computer Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications or similar
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Autonomous and self-reliant way of working
• You are communicative and a strong team player
• Innovation skills and fascination for infotainment
• Interest in new technologies
• Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
• Good sense of humor – we love to have fun and laugh with each other
