Release Manager Lead

As a RM Manager, your skills will include:

o 3 to 5 years previous experience leading IT teams and/ or working in large scale, high visibility projects with complex project teams
o ITIL certified highly desirable
o Good knowledge of Release Management best practices
o Good Project Management and Delivery Skills
o Technical degree in Computer Science/ related field or equivalent experience;
o High proficiency in English
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, manage escalations and diffuse conflict

As a RM Manager, your main responsibilities will involve:

• Release management:
o Manage the releases for the projects under the RCA domain, while maintaining an accurate release calendar
o Ensure the release-related work conforms to the DB quality standards
o Secure and organize the implementation resources needed to support a release;
o Manage escalations to support the releases
o Work closely with the project teams to identify and address potential risks, issues or opportunities related to release management
• Stakeholder management: Efficiently engage, manage and influence the main stakeholders, along with the related emerging risks and opportunities
• Personal and team development:
o Create an environment where people management and development is the number one priority. Empower, manage, coach and mentor direct reports and others in the organization
o Share knowledge and expertise with team members as well as internal teams
o Pro-active in maintaining and increasing the teams and your own technical knowledge, by identifying training needs or requirements for yourself individually and for the team
