    We are creating a new Supply Planning Team in our Bucharest office!

    Kellogg Europe Supply Chain is on a journey to become an end-to-end, more agile and responsive function and we believe you can be an integral part of this journey!

    Kellogg’s has been market-leading in Romania (Floreasca Business Park) since 2014 and in that time we’ve partnered our business and achieved a progressive culture, focused on the future.  From continuous improvement projects, to cost reduction initiatives, the European Supply Chain team has really made a difference to the heart of our company.

    Access your career and imagine yourself in a company dedicated to imagination, trust and enthusiasm.

    As our Inventory Planner – 3rd Party supporting our European markets, you’ll work closely with our co-manufacturers to plan finished case production schedules and materials so our Kellogg promotions hit the shelf.  You’ll be the key contact for our co-manufacturers, in order to manage inventory volume and transport requirements.  Being an expert, you’ll always be on the lookout for risks and be able to solve discrepancies which reduce the financial risk to the business.

    Our 3rd party suppliers are a key part of our Kellogg Supply Chain function.  As the Inventory Planner for this activity, you’ll have a firm focus on building those external relationships and ensuring that the smooth operations occur in the plants with effective issue resolution.

    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

    Required:

    • University Degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field  (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field);
    • Expertise in Supply Planning process including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools;
    • Experience working in a data driven process or service center environment, with time pressure and priorities to be balanced;
    • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office;
    • Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally;
    • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, specifically with external partners.

    Bonus Points:
    • Full proficiency in a second European language;
    • Processed and packaged foods industry experience.

    HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
    • Have the end product in mind – Being responsible for on-pack promotion changes, you’ll have a key input into defining the needs of our packaging.  You’ll work closely with external manufacturers and demand planners to ensure promotions are continually rotated.  A success for you is to have zero write-off of packaging components.
    • Continual external voice – You’ll be the main contact for our co-manufacturing business and your excellent communication skills will enable smooth play between our transport team and our external suppliers.  The supply of the business relies on your skill!
    • Financial control – Your eye for detail around invoicing will be key for the variances and resolutions we might encounter.  Thankfully, because you can identify variances quickly and report back to the business with your resolutions.  Let’s make things happen.
    • Be the problem solver - Because of your issue resolution capabilities, and your strength in amending priorities, you'll always be able to maintain product supply to our markets.  That eye for detail will come in handy, as well as your focus on the solution, not the problem.
    • Live the K-Values – To care for the business and your colleagues, you’ll encourage a workforce aligned to our K-Values. After all, you feel like you want to be part of something bigger, right?
