Tenneco is present in Romania with the Global Shared Services Center in Bucharest and also with the Braking products plant in Ploiesti, Prahova.

• Responsible for implementation and compliance with the group and statutory financial, accounting and reporting policies
• Participates in the implementation of various SAP (sub)modules
• Follows-up for standards and legislation changes in accounting, tax statistics
• Responsible for implementation and compliance with the group and statutory financial, accounting and reporting policies
• Responsible for the company’s Financial Statements accuracy: Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss account, Cash Flow
• Responsible for the accounting and fiscal correctness related to income tax; completes the company’s Fiscal Registry;
• Responsible for account reconciliations
• Calculation and booking of production cost, price differences according to statutory accounting rules;
• Prepares and ensure accuracy of Sales and Purchase Ledger, General Ledger and Inventory Ledger;
• Responsible for the monthly Trial Balance preparation; prepares the balance sheet reconciliation monthly; prepares and it’s responsible for the VAT ledgers accuracy;
• Supports the consultants for income statement preparation;
• Accountable for the cash and cash advances transactional accounting accuracy;
• Collaborates with customers and suppliers, peers from shared service center to solve the discrepancies related to quantity, price, payments details;
• Responsible for fixed assets accounting;
• Participates to annual wall-to wall inventory count, prepares the necessary documentation;
• Books the annual inventory results;
• Responsible for fiscal statements submission and point of contact for fiscal authorities
• Active participation to the monthly corporate reporting;
• Coordinates the documentation preparation for the statutory audit;
• Support plant continuous improvement initiatives by constantly identifying opportunities for improvement of its own activity
• Other projects and analysis as required
