    Role:

    To provide IT support to the users from the customer’s organization in case of incidents, problems, requests or questions and to ensure the restoration of the IT infrastructure and of the provided service in case of a fault as soon as possible. To contribute to the achievement of the SLAs his/her team is responsible for.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Install and monitor virtual machines;
    Providing technical support for Windows server installation;
    Monitor and maintain big data storage systems;
    Monitor and maintain data backup systems;
    Monitor and maintain messaging systems;
    Work in an international globally distributed team to assure a follow the sun service;
    Requirements:

    Relevant experience in Office 365;
    Computer Science degree or an equivalent knowledge and relevant experience;
    Experience with operating systems (MS and/or Lx/Ux);
    Experience with big enterprise environments;
    Experience with enterprise data storage and backup;
    Experience with virtual machines;
    Experience with server hardware;
    Knowledge in messaging systems and Lotus Notes/ Domino;
    Knowledge in enterprise networks and DHCP/DNS;
    Willingness to learn and develop;
    Fluency in English.

    Working hours: - Mo. to Fr., 8 h (1 week on call activity, every 2 months, availability during the weekend)
    Trainings:
    A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with the products, tools, processes and organization you will work with.
    customer specific trainings will be provided in the work-in/training period
    technical training will be provided on demand
    documentation and regular internal trainings available
