    Requirements

    The role of the Pre-Sales Consultant requires someone who is adaptable, professional and skilled in client facing Pre-Sales software consultancy. This role helps achieve and deliver Agys’ growth strategy and works closely with the sales team. It requires a flexible approach to mobility to meet the demands of the prospects and clients, being a global role.
    The Pre-Sales Consultant will identify potential customer technical and business requirements and match them with our products functionalities by aligning the demand with existing capabilities.

    Competencies required:
    • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of business
    • Able to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand
    • Able to develop effective working relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with all commercial departments such as Sales, Operations and Product Development
    • Good time management and prioritization skills

    Professional Knowledge and Experience required:
    • 3+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant, preferably providing enterprise software solutions
    • 3+ years knowledge of IT delivery and architecture including knowledge of application frameworks, systems and platforms, data modelling
    • Basic knowledge of system architectures and operating systems: UNIX/AIX, Linux, Windows, virtualization solutions
    • Knowledge of deployment models: On premises, cloud, mobile
    • Good analytical and problem solving experience – nice to have
    • Additional Technology skills would be considered a plus:
    • JAVA / JEE / J2EE
    • Spring
    • HTML 5 / CSS 3 / Angular
    • Hibernate
    • Application servers
    • Design patterns
    • UML Modelling Skills
    • Databases
    • Messaging systems/technologies

    Responsibilities

    Job responsibilities:
    • Support for the sales team by putting together business cases to support the team’s proposals.
    • Attending meetings with potential customers and assessing their technical & business needs and requirements while matching them with BlueFabric and Bank Connect functionalities
    • Developing and conducting presentations (both technical and business), demonstrations, webinars and proof of concepts to all levels of existing and prospective customers
    • Acting as BlueFabric and Bank Connect religious advocate and engage customers in best utilizing company software at the highest potential
    • Constantly communicating with the Product Manager and providing feedback on issues, improvements, items to be developed affecting BlueFabric and Bank Connect applications
    • Constantly communicating with the Sales/Product/Backoffice teams in order to have up to date technical and financial proposals
    • Drafting the RFI/RFP responses together with the Sales Team
    • Providing ongoing support for customers prior, during and post implementation
