Fortech - QA Manual Internship

Role Summary

Fortech is looking for two talented, attentive to details, savvy, curious and willing to learn Quality Assurance interns for its team in Cluj Napoca.

You will join a paid 3-months, full-time internship, with the opportunity to get a long-term collaboration offer at the end of it. As a QA intern, you will work alongside our team of engineers and in a constant interaction with the entire team and clients.

In the current role, you will be assisted and will work closely with the QA team.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in agile meetings with product and program management and engineering
• Review system specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Identify, record, document and track bugs thoroughly
• Perform thorough regression testing, integration, functional, non-functional, accessibility, usability and/or performance testing
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
• Provide user feedback while testing the applications
• Write detailed release reports that face external clients
• Participate proactively in maintaining team standards and best practices

Your Competencies

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts in software development lifecycle
• Elementary database knowledge
• Elementary web concepts
• Organized, detail-oriented and good interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good command of English
