Skills Required:


BS in Computer Science or 5 years relevant work experience in related field
Good knowledge of the software development life cycle
Solid understanding of database concepts and strong SQL writing and tuning skills
Solid programming experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML5 and PLSQL
Experience with Hudson/Jenkins CI, Maven, Microservices architecture, Kafka, WebLogic, SOA Suite, BMP Suite, Oracle JET, SOAP, REST, ExtJS web framework, Linux administration and scripting is a plus
Experience working with common IDE’s, version control systems and code review tools, such as: Eclipse/JDeveloper/NetBeans, SVN/GIT and ReviewBoard
Experience with DevOps provisioning/configuration tools such as: Chef, Puppet & Terraform is also a plus
Excellent analytical and research skills for assessing problems and recommending solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying conceptual and technical information, to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with designing, developing, implementing and supporting enterprise applications, tools and/or freeware

This position in Oracle’s Global IT Infrastructure Tooling and Automation group focuses on designing, developing, implementing, integrating and supporting tools that are required to ensure efficient and error free delivery of Oracle's IT services.



Responsibilities:



Collaborate globally with own team, other IT groups and lines of business to design, develop, implement, administrate, and support service assurance tools throughout life cycle
Develop integration and automation to streamline business process, enable data sharing, eliminate manual errors, and improve efficiency in order to maximize value out of the tools
Participate in design meetings, prepare design documentation, and develop, test, review, debug, and enhance existing/new capabilities and features
Provide support to Operations teams and the user community
Participate in on-call rotation and work flexible hours as needed
Stay current with advances in both Oracle and industry tools, techniques, technologies and trends
