    Job description

    The job is composed of 2 main types of tasks: accounting tasks and team-tasks.

    A. Accounting tasks

    - performing all the accounting operations needed by the private firms in the portfolio in relation to the public institutions, including:
    - bookkeeping all the documents handed over by the clients
    - closing the income, expense & VAT accounts
    - checking and adjusting the monthly trial balances
    - drafting all the monthly/trimester statements
    - following up on the submission and archiving of the statements
    - monthly filling of the Daily Register, based on the trial balance
    - filling in the Tax Evidence Register every trimester or when needed
    - filling in the Inventory Register annually
    - performing all operations needed to close the financial statement
    - drafting the annual financial statements

    B. Team tasks:

    - coordinating with the HR team, with the tax advisory team and the audit team
    - daily updating the team calendar
    - daily review of the contacts database
    - reporting
    - preparing tender documentation
    - updating the document management system

    Recruitment procedure
    1. Shortlist: from the pool of candidates who express interest in this role, the HR Department draws a shortlist of candidates
    2. Interview: the candidates are invited for a discussion at Partner-level. This discussion includes a structured part and a non-structured part
    3. Trial day in the team: the candidates who receive a green light from the Partner have one day at their disposal to spend in the team, in order to explore the working environment and share feedback
    4. Contract signature. Before contract signature, the candidate needs to present 2 references from previous employers and to pass the medical test
    5. Onboarding: the successful candidate receives guidance & personalised coaching through the initial steps of the new role
