Test Engineer

KYOCERA AVX Components (Timisoara) SRL provides comprehensive sensing and control solutions, for critical transportation applications, with more than 30 years of experience in Automotive Industry.
We produce a wide range of electronic components for the automotive industry, such as:
- acceleration pedals,
- sensors (fluid temperature, level and pressure etc.),
- LED technology modules,
- electronic actuators
- circuit boards.
We have around 500 employees. We are active in Romania since 2012.

At least 2 years of proven work experience in testing electronic boards, modules and test equipment;
BA in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/ Computers;
Solid knowledge in electronics; analog, power and digital;

Knowledge of Quality Control principles and methodology is an asset;

Good Communication and interpersonal skills;

Analytical reasoning and problem solving;

Experience in developing test instructions and procedures;

Relevant work experience in the production environment, technical university degree and good knowledge of English is mandatory.

To develop procedures, methods and tools for test, verification and certification of the company’s products ;

To validate testing activities and results of manufacturing equipment;

To participate in design verification of new equipment ;

To participate in preparing product compliance documentation;

To develop procedures and tools for testing, calibration and verification of the equipment, cooperating with the developers;

To ensure the test equipment is properly tested, calibrated and certified according to the corresponding procedures;

Write technical specifications and interact with suppliers or outsourced equipment;

Collaborate with the production and quality team for optimizing the testing process, including defining new requests and process specifications, to review the technical part and the methods of production;

Develop and improve the programs used by production equipment.
