We in the Instrumentation & Driver HMI Business Unit work on possibilities for optimally processing and presenting information. The focus here is on prioritizing the information shown on various displays and indicators to best suit the vehicle and driving conditions. We also develop innovative control elements for the intuitive operation of various functions. We are looking for talented engineers for the following roles: 1. PCB Design Specialist: Main tasks & responsibilities: - Interactive creation & optimization of PCB layout designs for various complexity projects - Compliance to design, manufacturing and EMC guidelines - Creation & maintenance of manufacturing data and design documentation - Design reviews with specialists from other areas - Supply of first PCB sample orders for verification testing - Release of mass production PCB supplier 2. Power Supply Design Specialist: Main tasks & responsibilities: - Electronic design of linear and switch mode power supplies for various projects - Analysis of customer requirements and project specific needs - Architecture definition, platform roadmap and component sourcing - Creation & maintenance of design documentation - Design reviews, testing & validation of development results - Support for other engineers with respect to own designs 3. Electronic Project Designer: Main tasks & responsibilities: - Schematic integration of various electronic circuits such as power supplies, microcontrollers and video input circuits for embedded application designs - Following specific automotive development workflows with regards to electronic design, verification and EMC measurements - Creation and maintenance of design documentation - Design validation based on customer requirements and according to a specific acceptance criteria 4. Electronic Project Coordinator: Main tasks & responsibilities: - Planning and tracking of electronic development activities and project costs - Provide technical support for the EE project team - Ensure interface with the customer regarding electrical topics - Ensure good collaboration with other disciplines within the project team (i.e. SW, MD, PM, Production)
Required technical skills: 1. PCB Design Specialist: - Good knowledge of analog / digital electronic design principles and excellent understanding of component functionality & behavior - Excellent knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and technologies, international guidelines - Proficient in PCB CAD tools (Zuken CR-5000 / CR-8000 is a plus) - Good understanding of mechanical concepts (drawings, 2D / 3D geometries, etc.) - Knowledge of EMC, Signal / Power Integrity topics 2. Power Supply Design Specialist: - Excellent knowledge of analog / digital electronic design principles and methods - Knowledge of power electronics and control loops - Proficient in engineering calculation & simulation tools (Spice, MathCAD, etc.) - Knowledge of design verification & analysis methods, equipment and tools - Knowledge of schematic editing software (Zuken CR-5000 / CR-8000 is a plus) 3. Electronic Project Designer: - Basic electronic fundamentals - Knowledge of various electronic design tools - Oscilloscope and basic electronic equipment handling - Problem solving and ability to analyze - Previous experience regarding project development is a plus 4. Electronic Project Coordinator: - Basic electronic fundamentals - Problem solving & decision making abilities - Communication abilities, ensure understanding - Leading spirit regarding team coordination - Planning skills and delegation abilities Required soft skills: - Strong organizational and documentation skills - Analytical thinking - Strong drive and initiative - Ability to work in an international team environment - Good communication skills, fluent in English (German is a plus) Other requirements: - Technical university degree or relevant experience (min. 3 years) We look forward to meeting you!
