Description

The role is responsible for creating plans, monitoring, checking and finalizing in best conditions the waste management and environmental activities within the Emerson Cluj Campus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the necessary documents and reports for the Environmental Authorities;

• Prepares and follows the environmental monitoring program (air emissions and water quality);

• Contributes to the Campus Waste Prevention Plan;

• Checks waste traceability before and after contracting sanitation companies (collecting, sorting, transportation, processing, recycling and elimination);

• Organizes the administration and the inventory of materials, hazardous materials submitted by each Business Unit and stored in the special designed warehouse, making sure that they are packed and labeled according to the legal requirements;

• Facilitates the cooperation among other participants in this activity. Ensures an appropriate communication and training for employees working within environment protection area;

• Organizes collecting, distributing and archiving information;

• Organizes meetings on environment projects, obtains the minutes and prepares different reports for the Management and specialized institutions;

• Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.

• Provide administrative support for projects by collecting data, providing project documentation, and performing other general administrative duties;

• Identifies the environmental issues, propose corrective action and follow up the implementation status.

Requirements

• University degree in Environmental Science and Engineering;

• Environment responsible or waste management responsible qualifications are considered a plus;

• Excellent communication skills;

• Strong organizational, prioritization and planning skills;

• Languages: English - fluent level;

• PC skills: Ms Office, E-mail, Internet.
