Senior Delivery Manager

Required:

Formal project management qualifications are desirable
Strong ownership skills with a result driven attitude. A structured and disciplined approach to project management
Strong analytical and problem’ solving skills
Professional spoken and written English
Pro-active attitude and very good organizational skills: writing documents, writing analysis summaries, giving presentations, being familiar with Wiki(s), Word, PowerPoint
Excel skills (for example Pivot Tables)
Strong preference, and willingness to enforce, team working with shared collaborative documents and centralized data/systems instead of working with countless emails and attached files

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Establish and maintain effective governance. Adhere to scope. Ensure planning of and monitoring of progress metrics and deliverables, and that resources can perform their activities as programmed
Deliver to the plan and demonstrate business value throughout, thereby maintaining customer confidence and support
Adhere to sound project controls in planning, delivery, issue and risk management and reporting. Work with customer or with customer-facing Project Managers to prepare the activities forecast, and provide visibility and accurate data
Ensure recording and provide reporting of employee work according to company policies, provide updates on key performance metrics of the project team
Ensure that project tasks, deliverables and target dates assigned to employees are defined consistently with PLM guidelines, resources planning, activities forecast, holidays
Conduct projects’ portfolio reviews and provide the GD teams recommendations and actions to improve the health, performance, and delivery of projects
Apply, fix and improve/develop processes, methodologies and best practices for delivery management

Optional:

Experience with managing third parties, i.e. contractors, partners
Experience in issue management and resolution, governance and controls
