BI developer

• University degree in a Computer Science, Telecommunications or Cybernetics
• At least 5 years experience in IT within a Banking or Financial institution
• Understands complex IT concepts as well as the implications of different IT architectural designs
• Strong skills in technical writing, policy creation and business process development
• Database systems: Teradata, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server
• Good knowledge of SQL / PLSQL
• ETL Tools: IBM InfoSphere DataStage, SAS Data Integration Studio
• Business Intelligence Tools: Microstrategy, SAS Visual Analytics
• Scripting languages: Shell, Python, Perl
• Good communication skills
• Team spirit & Analytical thinking
• Creativity & Problem solving oriented
• Ability and desire to acquire knowledge quickly
• Proactive attitude
• English language (fluent in both writing and speaking)

Develop ETL scripts/jobs – extract data from the Teradata DWH core data model, calculate metrics and KPIs, load them into the MIS data mart.

Design and implement new tables and relationships in the data mart model.

Implement Microsoft Power BI solution in the Bank together with the provider and the local team.

Develop new reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
