Senior Accountant with German

We are looking for an experienced Senior accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Senior accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

- Ensuring that the company’s financial affairs run smoothly
- Building and leading the local Accounting and Finance Department and team; managing and motivating the team members, assessing their performance and supporting them in their professional development efforts
- Leading the planning and preparation of the annual budget, forecasts and financial plan;
monitoring them and working closely with the company management to make sure that they stay in approved levels
- Preparing the legally-required financial reports, observing the timeframe; preparing reports, as well as ad-hoc analysis for the GM and the group
- Issuing quarterly balance sheet and P&L, in line with IFRS standards and sending them to the group’s Finance Department
- Monitoring and controlling the calculation and on-time payment of taxes
- Making sure that all finance-related documents are performed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner, in conformity with legal and group standards, and that all accounting records and documentation are properly maintained
- Preparing and implementing internal audits
- Managing the company’s payment capacity and planning the cash-flow
- Managing the treasury function and controlling expenditures
- Coordinating the communication with the stores from the financial perspective
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders: the group, the store network, banks, auditors, fiscal authorities
- Implementing the group’s financial strategy and applicable statutory policies and procedures

This role is part of the Management Team and reports directly to the General Manager. German language is a must have.
