Key responsibilities
Your role will involve delivering technical solutions that address customers’ varying needs, either working independently or with a subject matter expert on more complex solutions. You will:
Provide product or BU specific expertise and technical validation; promote and position key strategic product and service offerings
May own account sets and/or be called into accounts as opportunities are identified
Act as a technical resource to support the sales organization to meet and/or exceed their objectives
Identify customer needs/ requirements, and recommend the appropriate products and solutions
Remain up-to-date on new product, technology, and services offerings; assist the on-going education of the broader team
Maintain relationships at leadership and departmental levels to lead to new business opportunities
Essential requirements:
Excellent communication skills: German and English
Ability to recommend business IT solutions considering customer needs and Dell EMC interests. Good hardware knowledge (clients, server infrastructure, storage, back-up system), general software knowledge, service knowledge
Customer focus and experienced in complex sales/business situation
Ability to change in response to a rapidly moving competitive environment and to identify and develop sales opportunities
1-2 years of relevant work/sales experience
Strong analytical, decision-making and organizational skills
Drive for results and priority setting
Desirable requirements:
Good hardware knowledge (clients, server infrastructure, storage, back-up system), general software knowledge, service knowledge
Related industry or segment experience
