- near-native English skills and advanced linguistic skills.

- high attention to detail.
- experience in the translation/proofreading/localization field is a plus.
- knowledge of another foreign language (Spanish, French, German or Portuguese) also a plus.
- fast learner.

- checking to make sure there are no spelling or grammar errors.
- checking texts for inconsistencies in terms, ambiguities and formatting errors;
- making sure the texts follow the rules of the style guides.
- checking consistency with the source (layout, truncated texts, misplaced break lines, etc)
- checking the cultural suitability of the texts and ensuring the style is appropriate per the locale requirements.
