Software Engineer for production logistics

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing new Software delivery tools
• Creation of internal documentations
• Development and maintenance of scripts which provide production releated data
• Delivering official software releases to the production team in Germany
• Active cooperation with the production and development department
• Development  and maintenance of a highly automated preproduction test suite
• Work in multiple projects with different teams in different development environments

Mandatory Qualifications:

•  3+ years of experience as a software developer
• At least 1 year of experience working with embedded operating systems (eg Linux, QNX)
• Experience with version management systems (Git, SVN, Perforce)
• High team and cooperation capability 
• Independent and systematic operation, high quality awareness
• Excellent english communication skills both written and verbal

Nice to have Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of scripting programing Perl, Python, Bash/Shell
• Strong knowledge of webservers, webservices and websockets
• Understanding or familiar with web programing and technologies
• Familiar with XML and XSLT transformations
• Familiar with relational database
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics engineering or comparable course of studies
• Experience working with electronic and hardware components
• Knowledge of Java programing
• Familiar with Docker, containers and related tools
• Familiar with Gerrit and Jenkins
• Knowledge of linux Yocto build environment

• Willingness to travel (0-20% of time) depending on the project necessities
