•Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume, by utilizing appropriate skills

•Makes tactical buying decisions with respect to the placement/management of all purchases within assigned MRP portfolio to meet scheduled demand and in adherence with Plexus guidelines/customer contract (order placement, confirmation, rescheduling, cancellation of items and/or receiving and invoice issue reconciliation and approval).
•Sources the market, negotiates terms for all assigned portfolio including services and offers support to requestor, providing input/alternative solution to functional processes or technologies.
•Negotiates lead-time constraints with suppliers to negate missed commitment dates.
•Acquires equipments, tools, jigs, chemical substances for Maintenance, repair and operation used in Plexus production and maintains Qualified Indirect material and MRO Supplier List.
•Meets with suppliers to discuss contracts, price negotiations, lead-time issues, open order status, new product lines, etc in conjunction with the Commodities Group.
•Responsible for managing all Obsolete & Excess Inventory items in accordance with Plexus E&O guidelines for assigned lines.
