    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a highly organized, efficient, creative and forward-thinking Jr HR business partner to join our Devices EU HR team at our location in Bucharest, Romania.

    Employee and business relations

    • Daily point of contact for employees and people managers with respective client groups for Tier 2 queries and escalations, i.e. those that cannot be resolved by HR Shared Services;
    • Support people managers through all employee related matters that cannot be managed within the Shared Service Centre;
    • Promote the use of HRS for all HR queries and only provide support on non routine enquiries from employees and people managers;
    • Provide ongoing advice and support to employees, interpret policies and procedures and applies judgment of application for their business;
    • Keep abreast of changes to policy, legislation and process through working closely with the HRA and Policy team to ensure that a mechanism exists to ensure that managers are receiving the correct advise;
    • Administer company benefits programs where applicable;
    • Maintain the confidentiality and completeness of employee personnel records and files in accordance with legal requirements and best practice;
    • Develop actionable and proactive reports based on selected and agreed upon HR metrics;
    • Design reports to key stakeholders summarizing the data and key trends;
    • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting processes for the HR community;
    • Keep aware of developments in employment legislation, taxation and best practice.

    Talent management

    • Assist managers during probation periods to ensure successful integration of new joiners;
    • Support employee performance cycle and provide HRBP support with the annual review process where practical;
    • Assist managers and employees in the promotion process, promo docs and PDPs – i.e. advise on how to construct and manage the process effectively;
    • Take part in the review of off cycle and exception compensation requests that cannot be managed within the Shared Service centre;
    • Support the internal mobility process in partnership with the TA team and HR Services;
    • Support People managers in any disciplinary, performance improvement or grievance processes and subsequent meetings required engaging the legal team as required;
    • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights into reasons for leaving;
    • Partner with HRBP on the execution of any org changes or change management initiatives as appropriate – i.e. provide managers and employees with the necessary tools to make the changes effective.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in HR
    • 3-5 years of directly relevant experience in Human Resources within an international fast-paced customer-obsessed environment;
    • Strong communication skills; excellent spoken and written Romanian & English, any additional languages a plus;
    • Solid knowledge of Word, Excel and database management;
    • Attention to detail, problem solving and analytical capability;
    • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and make best use of limited resources;
    • Thrives in a high-pressure environment;
    • High dependability – be there to support the business;
    • Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team & business;
    • Experience in Romanian Labor Law.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Project management and execution skills
