    With very solid technical background in J2EE and web applications in general, with the ability to ensure customer's success beyond coding and into system planning and architecture. You will be expected to consult our customer on the best possible solution to address their business needs and then participate with a team of other experts in the entire lifecycle of the project from design to go-live and beyond in different regions.

     

    Your duties and responsibilities include:

    • Delivers Professional Services to sound technical, business and professional standards while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and success
    • Provides technical design and construction expertise to customer implementations and deployments
    • Define client requirements, provide gap analysis, and configure the outcome of these efforts
    • Understand project charter and customer needs on the project
    • Collaborate with solution architect in initiating product enhancements during a customer implementation
    • Perform detailed gap analysis and write use case test plans
    • Configure application as per solution design
    • Create data mapping specifications for integrations
    • Provide input to build the deployment plan and support solution rollout
    • Monitor solution stability post-implementation and facilitate effective handover to support organization
    • Researches and follows up on technical issues related to projects; informs, communicates and trains associates
    • Helps ensure that Professional Services revenue is realized and that projects are completed on time and on budget
    • Protects and furthers the Company's excellent service reputation
    • Helps scope projects and write Statements of Work
    • Work with other implementation consultants or implementation analysts on any of the above tasks

     

    What we expect:

    • University degree from a reputable University (CS or EE preferred)
    • 5+ years software consulting experience (implementing enterprise software solutions for customers) including direct customer contact
    • Knowledge and experience with the professional services project lifecycle (scoping, requirements, construction, QA/ test)
    • Prior experience as a software developer strongly preferred
    • Solid experience in several of the following domains:
    1. J2EE (Java, JSP, Servlets, multithreading) with one of the following application servers: Weblogic or JBoss Application Server
    2. Oracle Database or mysql Database (knowledge of database design and schemas)
    3. HTML, DHTML, Javascript, Rhino and JQuery
    4. Web Services, XML and XSLT
    5. Networking (knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, Routing, etc)
    6. Unix (Solaris) and Linux
    • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to formulate alternative approaches
    • Must have good attention to detail
    • Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues
    • Industry knowledge of Telecommunications related consumer products a plus
    • Knowledge of Broadband transport technology is a plus
    • Strong written and verbal English communications skills
    • Comfortable working remotely or on-site
    • Up to 25% of travel required
