As a Software QA Tester you will be responsible of testing the software (web products) that the company develops and maintains. You will have to manual test and also run test suites that are created by the leads based on the requirements. You will also need to provide test results and feedback on what should be automated.

Job description
Responsibilities:
Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
Provide feedback on the tested product and what should be automated in terms of testing
Develop, document and maintain functional test plans, test suites or test sets based on the requirements provided in the documentation
Responsible for communicating daily with an offshore lead
Responsible for providing extensive, well detailed QA testing reports that identify daily progress, issues, and questions
Identify any quality issues and escalate critical issues.
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional requirements and design specifications.
Isolate, replicate, report defects and verify defect fixes.
Partnering and collaborating with all departments throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Responsible for testing multiple types of features across a myriad of platform combinations (Mobile/PC/Mac).
Perform various web testing techniques: Functional, Usability, Interface, Compatibility, Performance and Security testing.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of Software QA experience on web products
Extensive experience in web application testing on various browsers and mobile platforms (Android/iOS).
Experience with e-commerce web sites
Knowledge of how online ads work
Experience with automated scripting and the concept of automation in general
Experience with bug management, tracking and reporting programs (Jira).
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with black box, gray box, white box.
Experience with SpiraTest, or any test case management tool
Closely familiar with the software development cycles and version control.
Shipped multiple web pages, web features, online services.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is a plus.
Knowledge of testing REST based applications is a plus
