Purpose and Objectives

SAP Nearshore Center Romania is a group that provides remote SAP consulting service to SAP customers. This group serves customers worldwide via tight cooperation with other local SAP consulting teams. We are looking now for a SAP BW Consultant to join our Cluj office.

Expectations and tasks

The BW Consultant role will be involved in projects regarding SAP BPC/BW Implementations, Upgrades and Modelling.

• Formulate and track work plans and delivery milestones in line with client expectations. Continually report progress as required
• Act as a trusted advisor/technical architect to the customer
• Deliver project trainings, conduct customer workshops and support presales / bid management
• Ready to travel for assignments within EMEA-DACH (short term and long term – max 50%)

Work experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in Data warehouse (DW) solutions
• At least 2 full cycle implementations
• Hands-on experience working with SAP BW/BI/Hana tools, technically fluent in BW modelling and BW-IP
• Experience in performing a role as a BW consultant in at least one end-to-end project (Upgrade, Implementation etc.,)
• Knowledge of data warehousing, tables, and structures (star schema, dimensions, master data)
• Experience in creating, modifying, loading and troubleshooting BW Master Data, BW Infoproviders
• SAP BW Process Chains
• Familiar with SAP BW user exit variables, start/end routines, custom data source development

Education and qualifications

• Graduate or Master Degree in Computer or Electronics & Communication Engineering / Computer science / Information Technology systems/ Computer applications / IT Business Systems / Economics
• SAP curriculum for BW consultants or equivalent
• Certification in SAP BW is preferred (if not, should be able to complete the certification within 6 months if hired)

Personal Skills:

• Experience in communication with customers and managing expectations
• Proactive in learning and highly self-motivated
• Good team player
• Knowledge of enterprise-level applications and understanding of Global Delivery model
• Flexibility to travel is a must
• Native Romanian, Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is an advantage
