Degree in engineering, materials management, operations management, business or related field;
2-3 years of experience in purchasing and procurement;
1 year of experience in construction field of activity;
Experience with suppliers on construction and MEP for industrial field (represents an advantage);
Relevant knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems, principles of construction planning;
Strong competency level in MS Office applications (especially Excel).
Identify and source profitable, new suppliers and initiate business/organization partnerships;
Assist the procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints;
Update the vendor/supplier database;
Assist in the negotiation and the management of purchased agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements;
Assist the evaluation of contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies;
Work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements;
Maintain high standard relationships with suppliers for the most cost-effectiveness and favourable services;
Assist in the troubleshoot cost, quality and delivery concerns;
Insert purchase orders for proper authorization according to organizational policy and procedures;
Assist in producing regular reports on purchase commitments, costs and delivery performance;
Assist in the follow-up and implementation of purchasing policies, procedures and best practices;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supplier and end user.
