The candidate for the Junior Accountant role should have good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards and Fiscal Code, an opened personality and a customer orientated behaviour. Fluent business English (both communication and writing), analytical thinking and discipline are also important characteristics along with an Economics degree and a CECCAR membership completed with minimum 6 months working experience in the field.
Even more important, the ideal candidate should show enthusiasm and willingness to follow a career path in accounting and the ability to fit in and adapt to the team.
For the Junior Accountant role within the team you must consider the following responsibilities:
- Perform accounting evidence for client`s portfolio;
- Assure that all records, transactions, reports, operating practices and documentation are compliance with Romanian regulation;
- Contributes in preparing VAT returns, profit tax returns, other declarations as required;
- Contributes in preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with Romanian legislation for a number of clients allocated;
- Provides assistance to clients according to own expertise;
- Supports junior accountants in developing their professional competency.
